Boundary Surveys
A boundary survey is a way to formally define the boundaries of a property. It focuses largely on defining the corners of a parcel of land. People should commission boundary surveys before buying, dividing, improving, or building on the land. After a boundary survey is complete, we will create a drawing. Usually, we provide Corner Record. a boundary survey is usually required in the following cases:
The land title is transferred.
The land is subdivided.
The land is developed ( buildings, fences, pools, roads, etc.)
There are errors and omissions in property descriptions.
Topographic Surveys
A topographic survey locates all surface features of a property and depicts all-natural features and elevations. It is a 3-dimensional map that provides all elevation and features. Specifically, it shows their location, size, height and any changes in elevation.
Topographic surveys are required when building an addition or new landscaping projects.
We provide a topographic map that includes many detailed contents, such as the structure of the house, pavement, trees, height of the project area, etc. Contents will vary according to different requirements.
Construction Surveys
Construction surveys are to stake out reference points and markers that will guide the construction of new structures such as roads or buildings. These markers are usually staked out according to a suitable coordinate system selected for the project.
We will undertake construction staking in the direction of the general contractor to ensure that the building is placed in the correct position. In this process, communication is very necessary, and we will communicate closely with the contractor.
Elevation Certificates
If your home or business is in a high-risk area, your insurance agent may need an Elevation Certificate (EC) to determine your flood insurance premium. We will use the latest published Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) to depict your flood zone. And provide An Elevation Certificate to verify the elevation data of a structure on a given property relative to the ground elevations.
